do I need to thin the ready paint when using .2 nozzle?

hello there..
i was wondering do i need to thin the water based paint when using 0.2mm nozzle?
bcoz i was airbrushing for the first time 2day and some time i feel the paint is stuck so i need to pull the trigger all the way back in order to get the paint flowing then i can airbrush normally ..

If you feel the paint not flowing right, the first thing I would try would be to reduce it and see how it flows. This is a trial/error type learning .. some paints need more reducing, some need less.

What you may be experiencing when you need to pull back all the way is some tip dry/nozzel dry... this is when the paint drys on the tip of the needle or just inside the nozzel. If the paint is just dry on the needle, gently pull it off with your fingernails, if it is in the nozzel (which usually builds up and then SPLATS on your art).. you should clean out the airbrush with cleaner/windex. I usually rinse with water after I clean; and then try again with reduced paint...

Humorris will become famous soon enough
Looks over reduced or too much paint you barely need to move the trigger to paint. Remember paint should be like thickness of skim milk.

Definitely throwing down too much paint.

You need to ease up on the trigger. Only pull back a little bit when trying to do lines.

Just want to get some more info to help you you.... What is your air pressure at and what kind of paint are you using? What are you using to thin it?

thanx for the tips guys..
currently the air source i'm using is the badger propellant air can which doesn't not give me enough time to practice but i've already placed my order here for a 30L compressor (80USD) and waiting for it..
im using badger OPAQUE paint (black) and i tried water to thin it..
