hey scorched, i am far from an expert, and your flames lok much better than i can do but if i could make a suggestion it would be to use the stencils less. but it looks rlly good

i agree, too much stencil use, need more freehand. Good advice!!

i love it... great coloring... the stencils may be used too much, OR you are using to much of the stencil. what i mean is u are using too much of the edge of each circular part of the stencil. try just hitting the stencil lightly dead center of the circular edge,rather than following the entire edge, does that make sense? do more freehanding too, and i think you are getting the concept down very well. keep at it.

i really like the light color for the background and the flames in front. I might be one of the minority, but I like the stencil look of the flames.
To me, that sharp stencil look makes the flames look like they will cut you. As in, DO NOT TOUCH!!!
I know we each have an end result for the flames we do... but I like these and even on your other posting.

Dude if my 1st & 2nd attempt come out even looking close to your flames I would have shit my pants ! Whilst I'm only new to this myself and my opinion doesn't count for much I think your flames look wicked !!!!
