Trouble when locking the pressure on my compressor..

Hello all, I've just got my airbrush in the mail and now I of course want to start painting. The problem I got is that when I'm locking the pressure at 50 psi and below. It just pops up and release the pressure. The manual says max pressure 50 PSI and I haven't gone that high. There is some problem and I'm new to all this with compressors it might be a not that big problem, just my uncertainty.
Anyway here the pressure regulator I'm using Biltema Sverige
together with a 24l compressor from some company called Einhell.

All replies are appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Adam Jacobsson

You see that red thingy that you adjust the pressure with? You push it to lock the pressure, but it just keep popping back like it was some overpressure but there shouldn't be...

Humorris will become famous soon enough
You dont need to lock it. So if the pressure is staying where you set it your fine.

But it doesn't, I have to push it in quite hard to get any pressure at all.. I was thinking about putting a clamp on it. Cuz when I pull it in I get pressure, but standing there the whole time while painting isn't a great success

Are you sure this is a air regulator and not a fluid regulator? When I google
Tryckregulator.I only come up with fluid regulators. But I do not read Swedish

I didn't know there was a difference? Tryck-regulator would direct translated be something like Pressure-regulator (or perhaps control) imo it sounds like it would be able to lower the pressure for the Airbrush But Idk that much about compressors or any other related stuff. What's the difference between a air regulator and fluid regulator?

I found this one from another store this is a reduction valve http://www.jula.se/e-Sales/esa/ItemD...emID@EQ=010272 it looks to have the same function but idk... I'll see what I can figure out, I'ma let my dad take a look at it as well thanks for replies m8s!
