Woohoo, I don't think you will find much difference in lines with the different needle/nozzle combos. Everyone seems to get hung up on smaller needle/nozzle giving them a smaller / finer line ( not True ) they are really made more for different viscosities of fluid.
It is much harder to spray thicker paint through a .35 combo than it is through a .5 combo. Pressure and viscosity always seem to be forgotten in the formula of fine lines. Thats why I suggest that you spray at the highest pressure that you can be comfortable with, its what controls the flow of the fluid.
You will however have better control with a smaller combo if you are spraying thinner mediums ( paints - inks ) because you can turn the pressure down and still move the fluid through the nozzle smoothly.
Trust me when I say that thin lines are a result of trigger contol and distance from your surface, more so than needle/nozzle size.

i agree with Ta-Da... but i learned the hard way lol. BUT me having two separate HP-CS brushes, one with .5 and one with .35, isnt a total loss for me.i use the .35 for spraying the really good thin stuff like uros... and the .5 for thicker AA and createx. and i have found that system works pretty well, and it allows me to spray AA at pressures under 20 psi

alrighty.that is exactly wat i needed to know! thanks.

soulkeeper- no i have not yet. havent had the spare money to try it out yet

i was just debating whether or not to sell one of the three brushes i have that are .3. 2 of them are iwata hp-c and the other is a master. my girlfriend got me the master for my birthday so i would feel bad if i got rid of that one, even though i never use it. haha. wouldnt mind selling one of the hp-c's. would like to get another bcs and do the needle swap and have a .3, .35 and .5 tip. i love the bottom fed brushes so i would like to have the .35 tip for my com-art paint then the .5 for my auto air. auto air does not spray well through my .5 which is odd cause i have it plenty reduced.
