How a bout a lil STRESS project!
I have been hired to place what I call a *band-aid graphic
This bike was done several years ago some where in Texas.
Its a custom color mix...which means there is only one shot to get this graphic right as I will have no original background mix to help blend it in with.
The graphics will be going back in a very odd place as you can see.
The challenge was to come up with something that would not take away from the great paint job that is on it now--->this is one of the nicest paint jobs Ive ever seen on a bike.....
The owner is a prior happy customer & Im flattered he has the faith in me to pull this off.....this happened when a motorist dead stopped & he had to lay the bike down..lucky this is the only ding that came out of that.
For the owner he said --put anything just to cover that up till I make it into winter when I will pull the bike down & repaint it all the way......Im thinking what a shame to loose that great paint job. Hes sick about it also.
So I spent many hours of research & nuttin seem to fit the bill as to a graphic..everything in my mind would not look good in that location....
the graphics I thought would fit & look great would not cover the bad spot or would go too high on the top of the tank...
I just didnt want to put anything there....have I confused ya'll yet?
Simple is the key to this project......!
I have finally come up with a graphic that will work , but to top it off ..if I pull this off like I think I can ------>he will not have to repaint at all ..this should compliment the bike but not override it....cross your fingers & I will post the results good or bad!
The owner left out of town with last words to me do whatever you can its just a band-aid...ahahha do I have a big surprise for him!
Take note newbies----> sometimes no pressure from customers puts the most pressure on you!
